Simply blend 1/2 cup of pomegranate fruit into a thick paste and add 1/2 tablespoon of honey and 2 teaspoons of almond oil to it. Stir and apply it as an even layer all over the skin and rinse off with cold water after 20 minutes.
  • Gram flour is an excellent skin lightener. Mix 30 grams of gram flour, 20 grams of normal flour, 1 teaspoon of almond oil and 2 tablespoons of honey to make a paste. Apply it on the skin and rinse off after 20 minutes with lukewarm water followed by cold water. Do it regularly for 3 times a week.

Method – 2: (Almond Oil Scrub with Sugar)

Scrubbing the skin with almond oil and sugar will remove the dead skin cells and clear the skin by protecting the skin from harmful sun’s rays.

  • Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar in 1 tablespoon of almond oil in a bowl to make a scrub paste.
  • Apply it all over the uneven skin tone areas and scrub it gently in circular motions for few minutes.
  • Rinse the applied area with cold water after 10 – 15 minutes.
  • Continue the same process for twice a week on regular basis.

Note:

  • Or replace sugar with salt to exfoliate the skin.
  • For best results, add any fruit pulp or rose water to this mix before applying on the skin.

Method – 3: (Almond Oil Bleach with Corn and Lemon Juice)

The combination of fresh lemon juice, corn flour, and almond oil will work as a bleaching mask that not only whitens your uneven skin tone but also hydrates it properly.

  • Mix enough of fresh lemon juice, almond oil, and corn flour in a bowl to make a thick paste.
  • Apply it all over the skin and wait for 20 minutes.
  • Then wash the applied areas by scrubbing the mix gently with lukewarm water.
  • Finally, rinse the area with cold water to close the skin pores and dry the skin.

Note:

  • Or mix equal amounts of lemon juice and almond oil and apply it on the skin. Massage gently for few minutes and rinse the area after 15 minutes with lukewarm water and cold water. Continue doing the same process for 2 – 3 times a week.
  • Or combine 1 teaspoon of almond oil, 1/2 teaspoon each of red sandal powder and turmeric, 1 egg white in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice to make a thick paste. Spread it on the skin and rinse with water after 15 minutes. Do it thrice a week on regular basis.

Method – 4: (Almond Oil with Fruits)

Here are some combinations of fruits with almond oil used to lighten the skin tone.

  • With Banana – Banana enhances the collagen production and makes your skin supple and well moisturized. Mix 1 teaspoon of almond oil in 1 mashed ripe banana to make a thick paste. Apply it all over the skin, massage and rinse after 20 minutes with cold water. Repeat it thrice in every week.
  • With Strawberry – Stir 1 tablespoon of almond oil in 3 tablespoons of strawberry pulp. Spread this paste on all over the uneven skin tone areas. Wash it off with cold water after 15 minutes. Do it regularly for 2 – 3 times a week.
  • With Orange Juice and Figs – This is a scrub that exfoliates the skin and polishes it gently. Mix few drops of almond oil and 2 teaspoons of orange juice in 2 tablespoons of fig paste.   • Wait for 20 – 30 minutes and rinse off with water.

Note:

  • Honey moisturizes the skin and prevents the drying effects of lemon juice on the skin. Mix 1 teaspoon each of lemon juice and honey in a bowl of potato juice (extracted from 1 grated potato). Apply it on the dark spots using a cotton ball and rinse off after 20 minutes. Do it once a week.
  • Also, you can exclude lemon juice in the above process and apply a mix of potato juice and honey on black spots and rinse off after 15 minutes with normal water.

Method – 4: (Potato with Pomegranate)

The rich content of enzymes in pomegranate will help you in dealing with dark spots and also make the skin glow with an even tone by rejuvenating the skin.

Steps to be followed…

  • Peel and grate a potato and add this grated potato in a blender.
  • Then add 1/2 bowl of pomegranate seeds and 1 tablespoon of water in it.
  • Blend it for a couple of minutes until smooth as a juice and then add the juice of 1/2 a lemon.
  • Stir well and pour this mixture into an ice cube tray by fill each section properly.
  • Freeze it for few hours and remove the ice cubes from the tray.
  • Take an ice cube and rub it gently on your skin where you’re suffering from dark spots.
  • Wait for few minutes and rinse off with cool water.

Tips and Precautions:

  1. Always apply a sunscreen (or moisturizer) before stepping out in the sun to protect the skin from harmful sun’s UV rays. Also, wear hat, scarves, sunglasses, etc. to prevent the sun damage.
  2. Drink plenty of water and other healthy fluids to hydrate your skin and prevent the excess production of melanin and thereby dark spots on the skin.
  3. Extract the juice of 1 potato and 1/2 onion in a bowl and stir well to apply it on the affected areas. Rinse off with water after 10 minutes. Dry the skin and repeat this application regularly.
  4. Apply a mix of juice (prepared with 1/2 a potato and carrot) on the dark spot affected areas and rinse off with cold water after 25 – 30 minutes. Regular application will fade away the scars and spots on the skin.
  5. Cucumber soothes and hydrates the skin. Mix the juice extracted from 1 potato and 1/2 cucumber and apply it on the dark spot affected areas and rinse with cold water after 20 minutes to clear dark spots.
  6. Rinse your face thoroughly with water in the morning and at night before bedtime to get rid of spots.
  7. Sleep for at least 7 hours, remove makeup at night before bedtime, reduce your stress levels

  • Even hot compress also help you in reducing the itching, swelling, burning sensation and other symptoms of the underarm rash. Simply apply hot compress as long as possible on the affected areas. Repeat the same few times in a day. Place cold compress after applying the hot compress for best results.

Remedy – 2: (Aloe Vera)

Aloe vera has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and skin soothing properties that help to cure the rash along with soothes the skin to get rid of itching and redness.

  • Scoop out the aloe vera gel freshly from its leaf and apply the gel on the affected area.
  • Leave it on for about 20 – 30 minutes and rinse off with cool water.
  • Repeat the aloe gel application for 3 – 4 times a day till you get cleared the underarm rash.

Note: Or simply mix a pinch of turmeric in 1 – 3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel and apply it on the rash affected area and rub it gently. Wash the area with cool water after 30 minutes and repeat twice daily.

  • Mix 1 teaspoon of lavender oil in 4 tablespoons of coconut oil and stir well.

  • Pour a handful of Indian lilac leaves in a pot of water.
  • Turn on the flame and simmer for about 20 minutes and strain it.
  • Let it cool for few minutes and then use this water to wash the affected area.
  • Continue rinsing the affected armpit with this neem water for 2 – 3 times daily.

Note: Or mix 5 – 6 drops of neem oil in 1 cup of lukewarm water. Stir and apply this mix on the affected area by using a cotton ball. Do this application few times daily to get rid of armpit rash.

Remedy – 7: (Apple Cider Vinegar)

  • Stir 1 teaspoon of raw, unfiltered ACV in 1/2 cup of water till the ACV diluted completely.

  • Mix 1 part of baking soda in 3 parts of water and stir well to make a paste.
  • Apply this baking soda paste on the affected areas thoroughly.
  • Rinse off with cool water after a couple of minutes.
  • Repeat the same process for once daily to get best results of curing the armpit rash.

Note: It’s not suggested to leave baking soda on the armpit for a longer time, as it may result in irritation and dryness.

Remedy – 10: (Shea Butter)

  2. Avoid using petroleum jelly or mineral oil or chemical based deodorants, body lotions, fragrances or antiperspirants unless it is prescribed by your dermatologist.
  3. Always wear loose fitting clothes (prefer cotton) but not tight fitting clothes, so that your skin will breathe properly and also avoid wearing any fabrics that causing sensitivity or allergic reaction.
  4. Apply calamine lotion and vitamin E rich oils and creams on the rashes and also prevent making the skin feel oily or greasy with the application of oils or creams.
  5. Maintain some skin hygiene like choose waxing or other hair removal agent instead of shaving, take cool water bath and shower twice daily, sleep in a ventilated and cool area, don’t scratch the armpits, etc.
  6. Drink plenty of water and consume more of vitamin C to prevent the infection and to speed up the healing process.
  7. Reduce your stress levels, as stress and anxiety will alleviate some forms of dermatitis and thereby worsen this skin condition.
  8. Also, you can use chamomile (skin soothing property) by stirring few drops of chamomile oil in any carrier oil and apply it on the rash. Wash the area after it dries completely and repeat the application regularly. Or simply place a wet chamomile tea bag on the rash for few minutes.
