Method – 1: (Turmeric Milk)

Turmeric milk strengthens your immune system and thereby prevents the action of microbes causing eczema on the skin.

What you need:

  • Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Milk – 1 cup

What to do:

  • Add turmeric powder to boiled milk and stir well.
  • Drink this turmeric milk once or twice daily.
  • Continue the intake of this turmeric milk once in daily (either in the morning on an empty stomach or at night before bedtime) till you get relief from redness and itching.

Note: Or use water instead of milk and drink this turmeric water to get relief from eczema.

Method – 2: (Turmeric Paste)

Applying turmeric paste regularly on the affected area will definitely help you to get relief from the problem by simply soothing the skin and clearing the itching.

What you need:

  • Turmeric – 1 teaspoon
  • Raw milk

What to do:

  • Place turmeric powder in a small bowl and pour enough milk.
  • Stir well till it forms a fine paste.
  • Apply this paste on eczema affected skin areas.
  • Massage gently and leave it till it dries completely.
  • Finally, rinse off the skin and pat dry it gently.
  • Continue the application of turmeric paste for twice daily till the itching and redness have gone completely on the skin.

Note: Or simply mix 2 teaspoons each of turmeric powder with warm water to make a fine paste. Apply it on eczema affected skin areas and secure it with a band-aid. Leave for a few hours to overnight and repeat the same regularly to get relief from eczema.

Method – 3: (Turmeric Rinse)

The analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric will help you in relieving itching, pain, and rashes caused due to eczema.

What you need:

  • Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Boiling water – 1 cup

What to do:

  • Mix turmeric powder in boiling water and stir well.
  • Simmer the mix for about 10 minutes.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes and use it to rinse eczema affected skin area.

Note: Or you can drink this turmeric water twice daily to strengthen your immune system and to get rid of the problem.

Method – 4: (Turmeric with Neem)

Indian lilac (Neem) exhibits antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that help you in relieving the eczema symptoms. This combination will definitely help you in treating eczema.

What you need:

  • Turmeric root – 1 tablespoon
  • Neem leaves – 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Warm water

What to do:

  • Place turmeric root, fresh neem leaves and sesame in a grinder.
  • Grind all these ingredients into a fine paste.
  • Apply this paste to eczema affected skin areas and massage gently.
  • Leave it to dry naturally and then rinse the area with warm water.
  • Repeat the same process for once daily for a month to get relief from this eczema and its symptoms.

Note: Or simply apply a paste by mixing 1 tablespoon each of turmeric powder and neem leaves on the affected skin areas. Rinse off after it dries completely.

Method – 5: (Turmeric Oil)

Application of turmeric oil will help to heal the itching, redness, swelling, and irritation caused by eczema. But before applying the oil, you have to clean the area with neem water and pat dry the skin for best and quick relief.

What you need:

  • Bitter oil – 250 grams
  • Devil’s grass (durva grass) – 300 grams
  • Ground turmeric – 12 grams
  • Water

What to do:

  • Pour all the above ingredients in an iron vessel and cook it for a few minutes.
  • After that, turn off the heat and strain the oil by using a piece of clean cloth.
  • Then apply the oil on the affected area by using a clean cotton ball.
  • Leave it like that to get the oil well absorbed by the skin.
  • Continue the application of turmeric oil regularly until you get rid of eczema and its symptoms.

Method – 6: (Turmeric Mask)

Turmeric acts as an antibiotic that clears the bacterial action on the skin. Almond oil used in this mask has rich content of vitamin E that moisturizes the skin. Sandalwood soothes the irritated skin and chickpea flour will exfoliate the skin to remove the dirt, dead cells, and other impurities. So, this turmeric mask (especially for facial skin) will help you in getting rid of eczema.

What you need:

  • Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Sandalwood powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Chickpea flour – 1/2 cup
  • Almond oil

What to do:

  • Mix turmeric powder, sandalwood powder, and chickpea flour by adding enough almond oil in a bowl till they form as a fine paste.
  • Apply this paste on eczema affected skin areas (particularly on the facial skin).
  • Massage gently for a couple of minutes and let it sit for about 7 – 10 minutes.
  • Finally, rinse the area with water.
  • Repeat applying this mask regularly to reduce the eczema flare-ups and to enjoy blemish-free skin.

Note: Or mix 1 teaspoon of turmeric, 1 tablespoon of almond oil, 2 tablespoons of flour in 3 – 4 tablespoons of raw milk. Stir well to make a fine paste. Apply it on the face as a mask and rinse with warm water after 20 minutes.  Do it once or twice daily.

Method – 7: (Turmeric Tea)

In general, the curcumin content in turmeric will get absorbed by the body when taken with black pepper (due to its piperine content). Here we are preparing turmeric tea by adding black pepper to get relief from eczema and also provides you with a better digestion and healthy immune functioning.

What you need:

  • Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper – 1/8 teaspoon
  • Boiling water – 1 cup

What to do:

  • Put turmeric powder and a pinch of black pepper powder in boiling water.
  • Stir well and cover it to steep for about 15 minutes.
  • Drink this turmeric tea daily to get rid of eczema and its symptoms.

Note: Or stir 1 piece each of fresh turmeric root and fresh ginger root (peeled and grated) and 1 tablespoon of raw honey in a bowl and crush them. Heat 1 cup of unsweetened almond milk over medium heat and transfer 2 tablespoons of this milk to turmeric mixture. Cook for a few seconds and sprinkle turmeric and drink this turmeric tea.

Method – 8: (Turmeric with Coconut Oil)

Both coconut oil and turmeric exhibit antibacterial, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties that help you in dealing with eczema. The usage of coconut oil will moisturize the dry skin and heals the skin by reducing itching, flaking, and irritation.

What you need:

  • Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Coconut oil – 1 ½ teaspoon

What to do:

  • Mix turmeric powder in melted coconut oil to make a fine paste.
  • Apply this paste directly on the affected skin areas.
  • Leave it for about a few minutes and rinse the area with lukewarm water.
  • Continue doing the same process for several times daily until you get relief from the pain, flaking, and itching.

Method – 9: (Turmeric with Aloe Vera)

The vitamin E rich content of aloe vera helps to moisturize and nourish the skin effectively and thereby soothe the itching, irritated and inflamed dry skin. This combination works well by healing the irritated skin and clears eczema.

What you need:

  • Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Aloe vera leaf – 1 small one
  • Vitamin E oil – 4 to 5 drops

What to do:

  • Extract aloe vera gel from an aloe leaf in a small bowl.
  • Then add vitamin E oil and turmeric powder in this aloe gel.
  • Stir well to make a fine paste.
  • Apply this paste to the affected skin areas and leave it for a few minutes to get dried naturally.
  • Finally, rinse off the skin with warm water and continue the same process for twice daily till you get a complete relief from this itching and irritated skin.

Method – 10: (Turmeric Cream with Nutmeg)

Nutmeg helps a lot in reducing the irritation and inflammation associated with eczema. Turmeric cleanses the skin and thereby this combination will help you in getting control over the eczema flare-ups.

What you need:

  • Turmeric powder – 1 ½ teaspoon
  • Nutmeg powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil – 10 ml

What to do:

  • Add olive oil and turmeric powder in nutmeg and stir well to make a thick paste.
  • Apply this cream on eczema affected skin areas.
  • Let it sit for about 10 – 12 minutes and then rinse off with warm or cold water.
  • You can store this leftover cream for 3 – 4 days and use it regularly to get a cure for eczema.

Method – 11: (Turmeric with Honey)

This combination works well in treating eczema and other skin disorders. Turmeric clears the dead cells and microbes on the skin surface and honey helps to moisturize the dry area and soothes the itching and irritation caused due to eczema.

What you need:

  • Turmeric – 1/8 teaspoon
  • Honey – 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh lemon juice/Almond oil/Raw milk – A few drops

What to do:

  • Mix turmeric powder, almond oil (or lemon juice or milk) and raw honey in a small bowl.
  • Stir well and apply this paste as a mask on the affected skin areas.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes till the paste dried completely on the skin.
  • Finally, rinse the area with water and pat dry the skin gently with a soft towel.
  • Apply moisturizer and repeat the same process regularly until you get relief from eczema flare-ups.

Tips and Precautions:

  1. You can use turmeric in the form of powder, fluid extract or tincture. Also, you can buy turmeric root directly from local or health stores or through online stores.
  2. It is not suggested to use turmeric supplements unless and until if there is no other choice of using turmeric for eczema.
  3. The usage of turmeric as your spice in your daily diet will help to boost the immune system and thereby prevent the microbial action on the skin.
  4. The intake of high dosage of turmeric may result in some serious side effects such as bleeding, diarrhea, gastrointestinal symptoms or contraction of the gallbladder. So, always be conscious while taking turmeric and take required dosage (8 grams per day) as prescribed by your natural doctor.
  5. Breastfeeding or pregnant women and children under 5 years should not use turmeric and its supplements unless and until your physician has prescribed to use.
  6. Make sure to consult your doctor if you didn’t get any relief from this eczema itching and skin flaking for proper diagnose and treatment.
  7. If you’re on certain medications (like blood sugar or gallbladder issues or kidney problems) then must consult your doctor before taking turmeric for eczema, as it boosts the effect of medications and may harm your health.
  8. Stop using turmeric for at least 2 weeks before attending for a surgery why because it exhibits blood thinning effect will interfere with the blood clotting process both during and after the surgery.
  9. Always wear clothes which are free of perfume or dye and prefer to wear soft and breathable cotton clothes.
  10. Regular exercises along with yoga, meditation, and deep breathing exercises will help to enhance your immunity and also keep your stress levels down.
  11. Drink plenty of water and consume a healthy well – balanced diet along with getting a sound sleep to prevent this autoimmune skin disorders.
  12. Turmeric in tincture form can also be taken to reduce the eczema flare-ups. All you need is to add 15 – 30 drops of turmeric tincture to your herbal teas, juices or smoothies and consume it 2 – 3 times daily.

  • Rinse your face and eyes with water to remove make up. Pat dry it gently with soft towel.

Method – 4 : Castor Oil + Eggs + Glycerin

The combination of castor oil with eggs and glycerin will make your eyelashes grow strong and think because egg white contains proteins which helps strengthening of lashes and glycerin will boost the texture of lashes as it is natural moisturizer.

What you need:

  • Castor oil – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Glycerin – 2 drops
  • Egg white – 3 to 5 drops

Steps to do:

  • Mix castor oil with glycerin and egg white.
  • Stir it well until it mixes well.
  • Now apply it to your eye lashes with eyeliner brush before going to bed.
  • Leave it for few hours ( You can leave it for overnight also because of the egg you will get bad smell).

Method – 5: Castor Oil + Olive Oil

What You Need:

  • Castor oil – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Dropper bottle

Steps to do:

  • Pour the castor oil and olive oil in dropper bottle.
  • Close the dropper bottle lid and shake it well until it mix.
  • Now dip a eyeliner brush into the liquid and apply a thick coat on the inner edges like you would apply mascara to your eyes.

  • First thing in the morning clean your face with water and dry with soft towel.

Method – 6 : Castor Oil + Lemon Juice + Lavender Oil

  • Lemon juice – 1 Tablespoon

  • Take tiny dropper bottle, add few drops of castor oil and lavender oil .
  • Stir it well until they mix equally.
  • Now add few drops of mixed oil to eyeliner brush with the help of dropper.
  • Apply it to your eyelashes and leave it for few hours.
  • Rinse off with water and dry it.
  • To get rid of free radicals and lashes growth, repeat the process regularly.

Note: Don’t leave this combination overnight because lemon causes itching and dries out the lashes.

Method – 7 : Castor Oil + Aloe Vera

What you need:

  • Castor oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Aloe vera gel – 2 tablespoons
  • Cotton bud

  • Mix the castor oil with fresh aloe vera gel.
  • Stir it well until it mixes uniformly.
  • Use a clean mascara brush and apply it to eyelashes before going to bed.
  • Next morning, rinse off the application.

Method – 8 : Castor Oil + Vitamin E Oil

  • Castor oil – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Vitamin E oil – 3 to 4 drops
  • Tiny bowl

  • Take a tiny bowl with castor oil and add vitamin E oil.

  • Take a cotton swab and add few drops of mixed liquid and apply it your lashes from base of the tips.
  • Leave it for overnight.

Method 9: Castor Oil + Lemon Peel

What you need:

  • Dried Lemon peels – 1 tablespoon
  • Castor oil
  • Eyeliner Stick

  • Take small container with lemon peels.

  • Then apply it with eyeliner stick before going to bed.

  • Vaseline – 1 tablespoon
  • Castor oil
  • Container

Steps to do:

  • Take a tiny container, pour few drops of castor oil and Vaseline.
  • Mix it until the castor is well absorbed into the Vaseline.
  • With the Eyeliner brush, apply the mixture of Vaseline and castor oil to the eyelashes from one end to other end.
  • Now leave it for overnight.
  • Next morning, rinse it off with water.
  • Make sure to do the same process once a day regularly to grow and improve texture of eyelashes.

Method – 11:  Castor oil + tea tree oil extract

The combination of castor oil and tea tree oil will make your eyelashes grow healthy. Tea tree oil is one of the best essential oil that has many medical uses like treating bacterial infections and fungus. Mainly, it will induce the growth of your lashes and thicken it.

What you need:

  • Castor oil – 1 tablespoon
  • Tea tree oil extract – ½ tablespoon
  • Dropper bottle
  • Eyeliner brush

Steps to Follow:

  • Take the dropper bottle and pour castor oil and tea tree oil extract.
  • Close the bottle and shake it well.
  • Apply the mixed oil to your lashes carefully with Eyeliner brush from roots to the tips.
  • Leave it for overnight.

Method – 12: Castor oil + shea butter

Shea Butter makes your eyelashes grow but when you combine it with castor oil, it will make the eyelashes look great.

  • Shea butter

  • Take some shea butter and few drops of castor oil in a container.
  • Stir it well until castor oil absorbed into the butter.
  • Apply it your eyelashes with muscular brush.

Method – 13: Castor Oil Eyelash Extensions

Ways to Heal Pimple Scabs

Cleanse the scabs – Cleaning the scabs at least twice a day using an antibacterial cleaner will prevent further infection and stop acne and pimples from spreading. Wet the area with water and apply a little amount of the facial cleanse to it using your fingers. Clean the area using a clean washcloth and pat dry.
