The combination of pears and yogurt make a rich, creamy and delicious smoothie that makes a wholesome and healthy breakfast on the go. Dietary fiber present in pears makes it a filling smoothie and keeps you satiated for a prolonged period of time and aids weight loss by reducing total calorie intake throughout the day.

Dietary fiber also aids digestion and relieves constipation. The addition of ginger to this smoothie adds a refreshing flavor and also improves digestion. Ginger is especially effective for reducing inflammation of relieving upset stomach and nausea. Yogurt and milk used in this smoothie add a rich and creamy texture and provide a wholesome amount of protein. Honey adds a mellow sweet taste to the smoothie and provides an instant burst of energy.
