Just a tip learned the hard way…

Use a plastic container. Broken glass on a wet shower floor covered with body wash = very bad time getting out and even worse time cleaning up.

You should be careful while using a glass container. Prefer using a dispenser glass jar, as the glass is natural, chemical free and don’t undergo any chemical reaction to spoil the body wash.

If you don’t have dry or sensitive skin then you can add some lemon juice to this body wash. The only thing is to make the quantity less and use it.

Generally, coconut oil is in solid form and to use it for body wash, you should melt the oil. Direct heating of coconut oil may cause some loss of minerals. So, place the jar of coconut oil in large bowl of hot water and then use this oil for preparing your DIY body wash.

Both Honey and coconut oil are good at treating psoriasis. SO, use this body wash to reduce the psoriasis flare ups and to soothe your skin. But be sure to reduce the quantity of essential oil while preparing this body wash.

I have used other recipes similar to this (only without the coconut oil), and I feel like it leaves me sticky after rinsing – like the feeling you get after using bar soap. I’ve been attributing it to the honey that’s in the recipe, but not sure if that’s what is causing it (I used raw wildflower honey that I purchased at Target). I know that honey is very good for your skin though, so I’m not sure that omitting the honey is recommended. I know you mention using rosewater, but that’s expensive. Thoughts?

Don’t worry, you can reheat the mixture every time you use. Just take a glass bottle and fill it with the mixture of coconut oil and honey. Other side, take a bowl filled with hot water. Now, place the mixture bottle into it and you can see it melts down automatically.
